The Solo Flight Training Course is a refined flight program that covers everything you need to become a beginner and competetant pilot. Training normally takes about 4-10 days -- sometimes longer, sometimes shorter -- depending on weather and student progression. The course will cover terminology and maintenance of the complete gear, basic meteorology (weather to fly in), aviation regulations, inflation techniques (forward and reverse), work with a engine, launch and landing techniques, simulator work, short tows, a tandem flight (if possible), and of course launching, flying, and landing. Supervised instruction is provided as long as the student needs, or up to 15 flights.
The PG Cross Over Training Course is a 1 to 2 day program for PG pilots to learn PPG (footlaunched or with the wheels) or for PPG pilots to switch over to footlaunched or the wheels.
Hourly and Per Day Training
Everyone progresses at a different rate, so the necessary time will be taken with you to insure you are trained properly and flying safely before you are encouraged to fly by yourself. Students may spread out training over several weekends if desired.
Because it is best to learn on the equipment one will actually fly in the future, students are encouraged to purchase or have their own equipment to do this complete courses.
