Our local club AZPPG is hosting the 2nd Annual Arizona Flying Circus, a huge Light Flight Festival on February 10-13, 2005. Its taking place at Phoenix Regional Airport (PRA), a private airport 30 miles south of Phoenix that boasts 100 acres of grass. A huge attendance of Ultralight pilots is expected ranging from PPG's, PPC', Hot Air Balloons, Hang Glider Trikes.

Lots of activities are in planning including a cross country flight, flying with hot air balloons, skill competitions, a large scale model rocket and RC demonstration, bonfires, clinics, a mass launch, live music, food, shade, videos, and of course lots of flying all day long.

The airport is a 35 minute drive from Phoenix and about 1 hour from Tucson. You are welcome to dry camp a tent or RV at the site and there are a number of hotels and restaurants near by. And there will be plenty of Port-a-Jons available.
