Sweeeeet!
Man, the flying this AM was fantastic! I love the air this time of year. Not a bump. Spent about an hour cruising around the local area, over my house and then through some hills to the North. Flying the smaller hills when there's no wind is really a kick. Lots of dirt roads, trails and no power lines. Only about 15 minutes from the launch site. We'll have to check it out next time we meet up at McC.

Maurice responds...

Yes, I concur. Really nice day. I wished I had gotten to the field way before sunrise as the almost full moon was pretty high in the sky. Really bright.

The air was like smooth glass with no wind at all on the ground. I blew my first two forward launches, but on the third I needed to run like a mad man before I finally lifted off.

Once in the air, the only bump I felt was when I circled around a construction crew and I flew through my own prop wash. In addition, the air is getting cold these days. My shirt and light jacket didn't cut it: I was shivering from cold. I really didn't fly too long (maybe 1/2 hour) since I'm still recovering from this nasty sinus attack. Bill flew for over an hour.
